Hubs
are large centers of activity--generally with a directory/search engine,
chat, forums, messageboards, newsgroups, zines, etc, all in one place.
To find information of a specific nature, you have some searching to do,
but to find community and mutual interest is not hard at all. Keep
in mind that the cool people are underground, and have found their communities,
and now you are looking to join them. A lot of progressives shy away
from imperialists like Yahoo! So dig, you will be amazed at what
you find. These are good places to start your searches, or to kick
back with people with your interests. Please be patient, I am one
woman doing a lot of work, so more IS comming!
